My Journey into Natural Medicine

My journey into natural medicine began with my own health story. After returning from living overseas in 2010, I was searching for support for ongoing digestive and hormonal concerns. When I couldn’t find the care I needed, I felt inspired to learn more—first to help myself, and then to support others. This led me to complete my Bachelor of Natural Medicine at South Pacific College of Natural Medicine.

Over time, I developed a deeper understanding of how closely the brain, nervous system and body are connected. I began to notice that many children, teens and families were struggling with anxiety, stress, digestion, focus and development, often without clear answers. I saw how often these challenges had underlying nervous system and gut–brain roots, which sparked a strong passion for supporting neurodevelopment and regulation in a gentle, family-centred way.

I went on to further my training through the Melillo Method and, wanting to deepen my science-based understanding of brain and body health, completed certification in Functional Medicine through the Kharrazian Institute.

Today, I integrate naturopathic and functional medicine with brain- and movement-based strategies, alongside Neurological Integration System (NIS) and manual muscle testing. This allows me to understand what the body is prioritising for healing and to create personalised, practical care plans that support long-term wellbeing.

My work may include:

  • Supporting calmer, more resilient nervous systems

  • Emotional wellbeing, anxiety, and stress regulation

  • Digestive and gut–brain health

  • Focus, coordination, and developmental support

  • Nutritional and targeted supplemental support

  • Neurological and movement-based therapies (including NIS)

  • Supporting structural balance and alignment

Everything I do is guided by each person’s unique needs, goals and story. I believe healing happens best when you feel heard, supported and empowered. This integrative approach allows me to meet you and your family where you are, creating calm, sustainable and meaningful change.

Why I Do This Work

I do this work to support children, teens, and families who are ready to take meaningful steps toward better health and wellbeing. I love working with parents and young people who are curious, open, and motivated to make changes that truly support their unique needs and lifestyle.

Being invited into a family’s health journey is a privilege. I feel deeply grateful to walk alongside children, teens, and parents as they grow in confidence, build resilience, and begin to thrive. Supporting families in this way is especially close to my heart.

I enjoy working with those who are open to a thoughtful, holistic approach, using a blend of modalities tailored to each child and family.
